Job Title
Hardware Emulation Architect – HBM architecture team
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain hardware emulation environments for complex SoCs and subsystems.
- Compile, configure, and debug large‑scale RTL designs on emulation platforms (e.g., Palladium, Veloce, Zebu).
- Support pre‑silicon validation, firmware bring‑up, and early software development using emulation.
- Debug functional, performance, and connectivity issues across RTL, firmware, and system layers.
- Work closely with design, verification, firmware, and architecture teams to enable rapid debug and issue resolution.
- Create emulation test benches, transactors, and models for system‑level use cases.
- Enable hybrid validation flows (simulation + emulation + FPGA prototyping as needed).
- Provide hands‑on support during key project achievements (tapeout, bring‑up, customer enablement).
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering or design engineering experience.
- Strong experience with RTL design and debug.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware emulation platforms.
- Solid understanding of SoC architecture, interconnects, and IP integration.
- Experience debugging full‑chip or subsystem level designs.
- Familiarity with firmware or low‑level software interaction with hardware.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $146,000 – $309,000 per year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity.
