Environmental Project Manager – Transmission Line Routing & Siting

Halff is seeking an experienced Environmental professional to serve as Project Manager in our DFW or Austin, TX offices. The role offers career growth, potential to own equity in the firm, and a chance to make a tangible impact.

• Project manage budgets and schedules.
• Engage with clients.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control.
• Lead and mentor production staff.
• Coordinate teamwork and project collaboration to complete electric transmission line routing studies and associated environmental assessments.
• Develop alternative routes, impacts analyses, and documentation for compliance with federal and/or state regulations.
• Provide expert testimony for contested case hearings.
• Collaborate with multi‑discipline teams to deliver solutions to clients.
• Apply federal, state, and local environmental regulatory requirements, guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in identifying pursuits and developing proposals.

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field (Master's is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Transmission Line Routing or Siting.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ArcGIS.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating with clients, regulatory agency staff, and the public.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Positive attitude, initiative, ability to work with multi‑discipline teams and manage projects independently.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
