Qorvo provides innovative semiconductor solutions that help customers solve complex technical challenges across consumer electronics, smart home/IoT, automotive, and infrastructure markets. Qorvo’s high‑performance analog (HPA) team develops and applies RF test techniques to improve product reliability and performance.
We are recruiting for an RF Test Software Development Engineer to join Qorvo’s HPA group. The incumbent will support the Test Engineering Group by continuously improving our test measurement capabilities and capacity, based in Richardson, TX.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and integrate test solutions to support RF characterization from DC to mmW frequencies
- Support test station setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Contribute to the test engineering roadmap
- Expand the existing test automation framework and test coverage
- Implement and contribute to software quality assurance (SQA)
- Lead and participate in cross‑functional teams to support engineering test development projects
- Implement methodologies to support testing earlier in the software development process
- Create test software documentation, procedures, and reports
- Support design validation testing of various RF product lines
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in RF testing
- Highly knowledgeable with RF test hardware
- Proficient in API development for test automation
- Experience with Load Pull measurement is a plus
- Proficient in automated test, including design, development, and maintenance
- Highly knowledgeable with Python, C++, and C# programming languages
- In‑depth knowledge of object‑oriented programming
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Desired Experiences:
- Excellent communication, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills
- Capable of obtaining US Secret clearance
- Position requires limited travel
Required
Education & Experience:
- BS degree (or greater) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
