Halff has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer in our Land Development group, in Richardson, TX. This position will assist in the design/planning land and site development projects, working as part of a design team under the direct supervision of a PE.
Responsibilities- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
- Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Land Development projects
- Perform drafting CAD work
- Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Passed the FE exam
- Have a current Texas EIT license or the ability to obtain within 2 years of employment
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D
