Responsibilities- Design and analyze digital and analog circuits, including the HBM Base die and Core DRAM die.
- Simulate, optimize, and floor‑plan circuits using industry simulators such as FINESIM, HSPICE, and Verilog.
- Collaborate with design, verification, product engineering, test, probe, process integration, assembly, and marketing teams to design HBM products that meet performance, power, cost, quality, reliability, and time‑to‑market targets.
- Develop schematic blocks (memory array, input/output buffers, control logic, address decode, datapath, internal test logic) and analog components (LDO, pumps, reference generators, BGR).
- Perform reliability verification, design validation, reticle experiments, and tape‑out revisions.
- Oversee and manage the layout process, lead floor‑planning, placement, and routing optimization, and optimize design rules for cost, performance, and functionality.
- Import layout parasitic information into the simulation environment and maintain technical expertise.
