This engineer designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates complex mechanical and electro‑mechanical components, sub‑systems and systems. The person in this position may also coordinate the efforts of drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as needed.
Duties include- Write test procedures, compile and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specifications.
- Recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
- Coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototypes or experimental runs for products or processes.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Requires at least 1 year related experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Experience with analytical and CAD software.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $79,000 - $103,950 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
