It is an exciting time to join the fast-growing Defense, Aerospace and SATCOM (DAS) Business Unit, focused on cutting‑edge RF components for the defense, aerospace and SATCOM markets. We are looking for a highly technical and strategy‑driven Product Line Manager to grow our GaN/GaAs Discrete Transistor and MMIC product lines. In this role you will “own” the future of the product line – defining product strategy, developing product roadmaps, driving business opportunities, and ultimately maximizing revenue and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute product line strategy to maximize product line revenues and profitability.
- Drive product line roadmaps with sales, engineering, and key stakeholders to define a compelling future vision.
- Define new differentiated products that create value by solving significant customer design challenges.
- Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Validate and justify new product definitions, by confirming value propositions with customers and demonstrating ROI potential.
- Develop customer relationships and partnerships through ongoing engagement, promoting products, roadmap, and capabilities to customers.
- Train internal and external sales teams to understand the value proposition of your individual products and overall portfolio.
- Champion new products through pre‑kickoff and development – ensure strong cross‑functional alignment across design, manufacturing, test, product engineering, quality, finance, and program teams.
- Lead market opportunity analysis by assessing TAM/SAM and understanding competitive dynamics and emerging application trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of related experience or an equivalent amount of education and experience in RF/microwave semiconductor product management, product marketing, applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, or a related customer‑facing technical/business role.
- Experience working directly with customers in RF markets.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and develop compliant proposal responses.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and business skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to influence and drive cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Masters’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Direct experience working with RF products and Defense & Aerospace customers.
- System‑level understanding of RF, compound semiconductor ICs, and control subsystems and their components.
