Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

Join a multi-billion dollar manufacturing organization for a contract-to-hire role as a Mechanical Engineer. This role will be responsible for mechanical design engineering for hardware projects. Candidates will execute project plans, documentation of work, and test results. Candidates should have experience with Creo, PLM/PDM systems, GD&T, and designing server rack. This is an opportunity that could lead to a full-time role with an organization seeing massive growth.

Location:

Richardson, Texas. Job Type: Contract. Salary: $55 - $65 per hour.

Work Hours:

8am to 4pm.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree.

• Ensure all designs meet strict requirements for manufacturing efficiency and commercial profitability
• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and surfacing using Creo
• Produce technical 2D drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing for manufacturing
• Perform simulations and analysis to validate design functionality and strength
• Create BOMs and manage revisions in Product Data Management systems

• Proficient with Creo
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems, preferably Windchill
• GD&T and tolerance stack‑up knowledge
• Experience designing server racks
• Experience level:
  Experienced
• Minimum 5 years of experience
