Key Responsibilities- Recognized as an Epitaxy Process or Equipment expert within the industry.
- Anticipates internal and external business challenges; recommends process, product, or service improvements.
- Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
- Contributes to the development of functional strategy.
- Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
- Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements.
- Must be a technical expert with 10+ years of experience in Epitaxy Process or Equipment with a strong Wafer Fab background.
- Must have data analytics experience to identify, troubleshoot, and solve complex EPI Process, Yield, and Integration problems.
- Leads with first principles in solving complex technical challenges.
- Engages with customers to understand High Value Problems (HVP), proposes and implements Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP), captures learning, and improves customer KPIs.
- Increases CSA value through defect/variability/COO reduction and PM/Process Cpk/matching/Output optimization; identifies opportunities for CSA renewal or upsell.
- Demonstrates and drives adoption of new service technologies including Fab Vantage offerings at customer sites through demos, on-site evaluations, and Joint Development Programs.
- Resolves complex tool issues using analytics, equipment knowledge, and FV troubleshooting methodologies for root cause diagnostics.
- Issues reports and presents findings to customers, explaining priorities and providing recommendations based on BOM, EC, FSS data, and FV360 for two products.
- Mentor/lead junior MPEs; possess advanced integration knowledge.
- BS/MS in Engineering; 10+ years of experience in Epi process or equipment engineering;
Wafer Fab Process/Equipment experience. - Strong ability to communicate complex ideas and persuade stakeholders, including senior levels.
- Regarded as a technical expert in EPI Unit Process and Wafer Fab operations.
- Knowledge of 4 or more processes across 2 or more technologies; functional depth in the discipline with broad cross-functional understanding.
- Demonstrates breadth of knowledge across related disciplines within the function.
- Ability to anticipate business and regulatory issues; recommend product, process, or service improvements.
