Overview

This role will require a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to apply these principles to real‑world applications.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
  • Applying knowledge of engineering principles to design products.
  • Conducting product testing and creating models and prototypes.
  • Overseeing the manufacturing process for the machinery.
  • Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Providing technical advice to the project team, addressing design and production challenges.
  • Participating in internal and external meetings, providing expert input and recommendations on mechanical engineering strategies and initiatives.
  • Maintaining and updating knowledge of current best practices, production standards, and technological advancements.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and working with vendors and contractors.
  • Developing design documentation using AutoCAD3D and other relevant software.
  • Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within sheet metal fabrication and/or electrical products.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD3D, electrical design, and design documentation.
  • Proven experience with mechanical design and project management.
  • Exceptional technical and problem‑solving skills and reasoning ability.
  • Ability to interpret specifications, technical drawings, and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
