Electrical Integration Engineer
Continental Electronics Corporation is a leading provider of RF technologies and innovative solutions with 80 years of proven performance. Responsibilities- Design electrical control cabinets, junction boxes, and power distribution panels.
- Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, single-line diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Create power routing layouts for AC and DC systems.
- Size and select circuit protection devices, power supplies, relays, terminal blocks, and wiring components.
- Integrate electrical equipment with PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and industrial networks.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure proper cabinet layout and cable routing.
- Perform electrical load calculations and verify power distribution requirements.
- Develop and manage engineering documentation, BOMs, and installation work instructions.
- Actively monitor assembly, system integration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site commissioning.
- Troubleshoot wiring, grounding, power quality, and integration issues during build and deployment.
- Adhere to NEC, IPC 620, and applicable customer standards.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to electrical design standards and manufacturing efficiency

- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience designing electrical cabinets or industrial control systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Solid Works Electrical, or similar electrical CAD tools
- Experience developing wiring diagrams and power distribution schematics
- Knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and low-voltage power systems
- Familiarity with UL, NEC, NFPA, and electrical safety requirements
- Travel may be required to support site installations
