Sr Electrical Engineer

The Sr Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of new electronic products up to full production and technical support of electronic products currently in production. You will assist with specification reviews, development program timelines and reports, design reviews, create simple mechanical designs, pre-production builds, documentation packages and transfers to production.
Responsibilities- Participates in the overall detailed product design of the assigned device, component or system
- Recognizes design problems and errors and takes corrective action
- Coordinates with Manufacturing during pilot run and first production runs to ensure an efficient transition from Engineering into Production
- Create and modify Schematics in AutoCAD
- Create and modify Part and Wire lists
- Interfaces effectively with other organizations such as Purchasing, Marketing, Service and Quality Assurance as needed to carry out responsibilities
- Prepares technical summaries reporting design performance
- Monitors the progress of assigned devices, components or systems to ensure that technical problems are solved
- Coordinates and performs field management assessments
- Writes manufacture and test procedures and reports
- Participates in project teams and all activities related to the development of new products
- Provides technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposals
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or physics is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic design with electronic circuit technology assembly processes (analog, digital, RF and/or high voltage design) or an equivalent combination of relevant technical education and experience.
- Experience in design, repair and analysis of electronic systems.
- Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD preferred)
- Competent in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point
Preferred
- RF experience, High Power RF experience a plus
- High Voltage Experience
- Engineering circuit simulation/analysis program exposure
- Occasional travel is anticipated
- Active DoD issued Secret Clearance

Pay may range from $148,000 to $168,000 annually
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package.
