Qorvo’s
Manufacturing Quality Engineering Internships
are offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Factory Environment:

  • Working in an assembly factory that builds a large variety of products
  • Tools include die attach, wire bond, SMT, mold presses, vacuum reflow, and other assembly equipment
  • Exposure to very complex and manually intensive construction of Spatium end product
  • Provide support to a IQC (Incoming Quality Control) group that reviews all incoming assembly materials

Responsibilities may include:

  • Partner with process engineers to identify root causes and support corrective actions during problem-solving activities
  • Monitor factory performance indicators, review action logs, and help follow up on assigned corrective actions
  • Use metrology tools to measure key attributes across a broad range of incoming assembly materials
  • Extract and analyze key indicator data to identify trends and recommend potential actions
  • Support supplier quality engineering by assisting with discrepant material analysis and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience applying problem-solving techniques through lab work, coursework, or project-based assignments
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Power Point

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
