Finance Controller

We are looking for a hands‑on Finance Controller to lead accounting and financial operations in a growing manufacturing organization.

This role will oversee day‑to‑day accounting, financial reporting, and cost management, while supporting leadership on financial planning and operational decisions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both strategically and at a detailed, operational level.

• Oversee financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP

• Oversee cost accounting, including materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Monitor production costs and perform margin and variance analysis
• Partner with operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs

• Manage cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Supervise and support accounting staff (Senior and Staff Accountants)
• Establish clear processes, expectations, and accountability
• Review work and ensure consistency across accounting functions

• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements
• Support audit processes and documentation

• Improve accounting workflows and reporting processes
• Support ERP usage and system improvements
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with leadership responsibility
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory
• Solid understanding of GAAP

• Strong leadership and team management ability
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, or similar preferred)

The pay range for this role is:

120, USD per year (Astra Nova)
