Job SummaryThis position is responsible for managing the implementation, maintenance, and critical review and analysis of models, studies, and systems which use actuarial principles for pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting, and other actuarial functions. It also involves developing complex models, teaching others how to develop models, creating written and oral presentations to drive decision‑making, and managing complex day‑to‑day projects that may include non‑actuarial departments and external parties.
The role requires a deep understanding of multiple actuarial areas and at least one business segment.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Managing the implementation, maintenance, and critical review of actuarial models, studies, and systems.
- Developing complex models and training team members on model development.
- Creating written and oral presentations to support decision‑making processes.
- Leading day‑to‑day projects involving cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Applying actuarial principles to pricing, underwriting, statistical analysis, reserving, and forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics (or an equivalent bachelor’s or higher degree).
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) with compliance to each designation’s membership requirements.
- At least 5 years of actuarial experience in the health insurance or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a management/lead capacity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation, training facilitation, and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- SQL, Visual Basic, or other programming skills.
- Experience with Medicare Part
D.
Hybrid:
In‑office requirement of 3 days a week. No visa sponsorship available for this role.

Base Pay Range$ - $
The compensation offered will vary based on your job‑related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to its terms and conditions.
