Senior Auditor

We are looking for a Senior Auditor to join a manufacturing organization in North Dallas, Texas. This position will play a key role in evaluating financial and operational controls, identifying areas of risk, and supporting a strong internal audit framework across the business. The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting foundation, strong audit experience, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out internal audits that assess financial processes, operational activities, and control effectiveness across the organization.
• Develop risk-based audit programs and perform testing procedures to evaluate compliance, accuracy, and process reliability.
• Analyze audit results, document observations, and present practical recommendations that strengthen controls and reduce exposure.
• Prepare clear audit reports for leadership that summarize findings, root causes, and suggested corrective actions.
• Support the annual internal audit plan by prioritizing engagements based on business risk and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review procedures, validate remediation efforts, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Examine financial records and supporting documentation to confirm alignment with accounting standards and company policies.
