POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting National Partners in Healthcare (NPH), a national, private equity-backed anesthesia platform, by delivering high-quality financial analysis and insights that inform operational, strategic, and investment decisions. This role partners closely with the Director of FP&A, CFO, and cross-functional leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and Board-level reporting.

The position offers high visibility, meaningful ownership, exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to scale with a growing healthcare organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop, maintain, and own complex financial models supporting annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, long-term planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Support monthly close and financial review processes and assist in preparation of executive and Board of Directors reporting materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data quality as the organization grows and evolves.
  • Support pricing, contract, and payer mix analysis as directed.
Business Partnering & Performance Reporting
  • Collaborate with Operations, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Accounting, and other functional leaders to deliver ad hoc analyses and recommendations.
  • Prepare and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and financial reporting to assess business performance and trends (i.e. – productivity, staffing, provider compensation and volume trends).
  • Leverage and continuously improve financial systems, reporting tools, and dashboards, including Power BI and advanced Excel models.
Other
  • Handle confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study required
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in FP&A, healthcare finance, or related financial analysis role.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a private-equity, multi-site, or high-growth company is favorable.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, complex formulas, and scenario analysis.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and performance measurement.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with confidence to work cross-functionally.

Base pay is based on market location and will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that NPH provides to compensate and recognize our staff for their work.
