We're seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our finance team at a precision manufacturing company serving military, industrial, and commercial markets. In this role, you'll lead cost analysis initiatives, support financial reporting accuracy, and drive strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. • Conduct cost accounting analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and transactions using ERP systems (Net Suite experience a plus)
• Prepare financial reports, including variance analyses, budget forecasts, and cash flow assessments, using advanced Excel and BI tools
• Monitor expenses, analyze trends, and implement cost control measures aligned with GAAP
• Support pricing/proposal reviews and government cost/pricing audits (DCMA/DCAA)
• Support SOX compliance through internal controls and regular process audits
• Collaborate cross-functionally to collect data, interpret financial reports, and ensure accurate reconciliation across systems
• Assist in developing forecasting models and budgeting strategies for long-term business planning
• Contribute to special cost or manufacturing operations projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• 5–10 years of Cost Analyst experience within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis
• DoD industry experience a plus
• Experience with financial report writing, data collection, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Net Suite, Oracle, or SAP) and advanced Excel/BI tools
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, technical accounting, and general ledger reconciliation
• Experience with cash flow analysis, budget forecasting, and cost management
• Public accounting or corporate finance background with SOX/internal controls experience preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to work on-site locally
