Job DescriptionExciting opportunity to join a team of pharmacy experts as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, the Texas registered pharmacy technician will take in-coming calls from members and providers, providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. The ideal candidate must maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfer all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.
Qualifications- At minimum 4 months experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Current pharmacy technician registration with the Texas Board of Pharmacy license is required.
- PC Windows experience required.
- Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- GED or High School Diploma.
