Payroll Supervisor​/Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join a leading provider in the service industry based in Richardson, Texas. This contract position offers a hybrid work arrangement and involves managing biweekly payroll operations for over 600 employees. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Paylocity and a strong understanding of payroll compliance and processes.

Responsibilities:

- Process biweekly payroll for more than 600 employees using Paylocity with precision and efficiency.

- Ensure all payroll transactions adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.

- Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports as required.

- Address employee and management payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.

- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and implementing process improvements.

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline payroll procedures and enhance accuracy.

- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

- Provide training and guidance to team members on payroll systems and practices if needed. Requirements - Proven experience managing payroll for 600+ employees.

- Proficiency in Paylocity software is essential.

- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processes and compliance regulations.

- Familiarity with full-cycle payroll operations and best practices.

- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to handle payroll inquiries and resolve issues effectively.

- Experience in the service industry, particularly heating, air conditioning, electrical, or plumbing, is a plus.

- Adept at using payroll tools like ADP Workforce Now and managing biweekly payroll cycles.
