HR Onboarding Assistant

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Onboarding Assistant to support the employee onboarding process and help ensure a positive new hire experience. This role will assist with new hire documentation, orientation scheduling, employee recordkeeping, and coordination across departments to support a smooth transition for incoming employees. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-service mindset.

• Support the onboarding process for new employees from offer acceptance through first day
• Prepare, collect, and review new hire paperwork and onboarding documents
• Coordinate orientation schedules, training sessions, and onboarding meetings
• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems as needed
• Communicate with new hires regarding pre-employment requirements, start dates, and onboarding steps
• Partner with hiring managers and internal departments to ensure onboarding tasks are completed on time
• Assist with background check, I-9, and employment verification processes, as applicable
• Respond to routine employee and candidate questions related to onboarding
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment procedures
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
