Responsibilities- Evaluate the ITSM framework, infrastructure, and operational processes of new entities acquired or onboarded through M&A activity.
- Map and align ITSM practices (incident, change, problem, service request, CMDB, etc.) with enterprise standards.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify risks, redundancies, and integration challenges.
- Support the transition and consolidation of ITSM tools and platforms (e.g., Service Now, BMC, Cherwell).
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure security, access controls, and compliance during integration.
- Work with business and technical teams to design integration roadmaps and execution plans.
- Document current- and future-state process flows, integration requirements, and operational runbooks.
- Provide oversight and technical input during execution, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management, IT Operations, or Infrastructure roles.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks (ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation minimum).
- Experience with M&A integration projects, especially in ITSM and operational process alignment.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., Service Now, BMC Remedy, Cherwell).
- Familiarity with identity and access management, cloud migration, and enterprise security requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
- ITIL Intermediate or Expert Certification.
- PMP or other project management experience in M&A or enterprise IT environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and infrastructure standardization.
- Experience working in regulated or highly matrixed environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, or large enterprises).
