Infosys seeks a Mainframe DB2 DBA. The role involves all database administrator activities including DB maintenance, system availability, and data security. You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across various activities. You will play an important role in creating high‑level quality deliverables and be part of a learning culture that values teamwork, collaboration, excellence, and diversity.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty can substitute for each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• In the Richardson, TX or Basking Ridge, NJ or Bridgewater, NJ area, or willingness to relocate. Travel to project locations may be required.
• U.S. citizenship or other eligibility for employment without employer‑based visa sponsorship. Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
• Experience in Mainframe DB2 database administration, JCL, and BMC Utilities.

• Experience in DBMS monitoring, backup & restore, table and tablespace creation, performance and log monitoring.
• Sub‑systems consolidation/elimination.
• BMC, Db2 upgrade preparation and validation.
• Application retirement and storage savings.
• Support for outages and production issues related to the DB.
• Monitoring of SQL queries.
• Automated monitoring of database space requirements.
• Health‑check and alerting for database object availability.
• Automation of database recovery and disaster‑recovery exercises.
• Detection and alerting on unauthorized download of sensitive data.
• Creation and authorization of views restricting access to sensitive columns.
• Parsing system logs for unauthorized database access involving sensitive data.
• DB2 encryption changes such as EDITPROC to DS‑level WLN & WL (3Q).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
