Senior Product; UX​/UI Designer

Job Summary

This Senior Product Designer role focuses on creating seamless mobile and hardware experiences, leading design initiatives, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams within the PD&R Controls department. Key responsibilities include UX/UI design, user research, prototyping, and maintaining design systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of UX/UI experience, expertise in Figma, and strong communication skills, with a preference for IoT or wearable design experience.

• Lead UX/UI design for B2B and B2C mobile and hardware‑integrated products, ensuring intuitive navigation and responsive design.
• Understand user needs by consuming research insights and designing journey maps.
• Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs that clearly communicate intent across teams.
• Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across products.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure designs are desirable, feasible, and viable.
• Contribute to long‑term experience strategy.
• Advocate for accessibility, usability, and consistency across all touchpoints.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in mobile UX, hardware interaction, and cross‑platform design.

5+ years in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing mobile app and hardware‑integrated experiences.

Experience in design for cross‑platform native applications (Android and iOS).

• Demonstrate user empathy and curiosity.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools, including Figma.
• Expertise in Figma‑based design systems.
• Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Experience designing for IoT devices, wearables, or hardware ecosystems.
• Familiarity with gesture‑based interactions, haptics, and mobile performance constraints.
• Soft Skills:
