Job Description Job Overview

The IT Assistant specializing in QC oversight and BOHA! Machine Support. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate implementation and use of the BOHA labeling system across all operations and Franchisees. This role involves providing technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance for the BOHA label machines, as well as coordinating quality control processes. The IT Assistant ensures compliance with labeling standards and regulations while maintaining efficient operational workflows.

Supervisory

Responsibilities

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as the point of contact for BOHA! label machine-related support and guide other staff and franchisees on proper use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for BOHA! label machines to internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Train staff on the proper use of BOHA! label machines and related software.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for labeling processes.
  • Coordinate with the IT and Operations teams to ensure the integration and functionality of the BOHA! labeling system.
  • Monitor labeling accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Document and resolve any issues related to labeling non-conformances.
  • Assist in the configuration and setup of BOHA! label machines for new locations or departments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and BOHA! technical support for escalated issues.
  • Participate in quality control activities, including inspections and audits, to ensure labeling meets company standards.
  • Creating, validating and preparation of required backup labels for kiosk.

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and support diverse users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Proficiency in using and troubleshooting BOHA! label machines and related software.
  • Strong understanding of labeling regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in training and providing technical support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports related to labeling and quality control.
Education and Experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with labeling systems or quality control equipment in the food industry or a related field.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around frequently.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate labeling equipment and perform detailed technical tasks.
  • Travel as required to national franchise locations and other openings to provide support.
Work Environment

Work is performed in both office and production environments with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and operational equipment.
