As a Network Engineer, you will participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructures. This role requires foundational knowledge of networking protocols, switching, SD‑WAN, Wi‑Fi, and automation tools like Ansible and Python. You will work closely with senior engineers and the IT operations team to deliver and support scalable network solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Work with SD‑WAN technologies to configure and optimize wide area network connections.
  • Provide support for Wi‑Fi networks, including troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the network team to automate network tasks and configurations using Ansible and Python scripts.
  • Troubleshoot network issues related to performance, connectivity, and security.
  • Support network monitoring tools to ensure network uptime and optimal performance.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and end‑users.
  • Assist in the implementation of network upgrades and changes as directed.
  • Participate in network design and improvement projects as necessary.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with emerging networking technologies and trends.
  • This position will also coordinate cabling and work with vendors.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in network systems administration, IT support, system administration, or a related role.
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.
  • Experience with network switching technologies and protocols (e.g., VLANs, spanning‑tree).
  • Hands‑on experience with Wi‑Fi technologies and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Good understanding of network security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • An Associates or Bachelors degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar.
  • Experience with Network Access Control – Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, PRTG, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud‑based networking or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies (e.g., VPNs, firewalls).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and/or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with SD‑WAN concepts and configurations.
  • Hands‑on experience with monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.
  • The expectation for this position is to be onsite five days a week.
  • In this role you will be part of an on call rotation.
