Job Description

Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Azure Data Architecture to design and implement advanced Power BI and Azure SQL solutions for data‑driven decision making.

• Design and develop scalable and efficient Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging Azure SQL as the data source.
• Architect data solutions within the Azure ecosystem focusing on data modeling, integration, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI platforms following governance policies.
• Optimize data models and queries to enhance report performance and usability.
• Stay updated with emerging Azure data services and Power BI features to continuously improve BI frameworks.
• Document technical specifications, data flows, and architectural designs to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Lead end‑to‑end development of Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, and visualization best practices.
• Manage Azure SQL databases including query tuning, performance optimization, and data integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize business intelligence needs.
• Mentor and guide junior BI developers and analysts to elevate team capabilities.
• Implement and enforce BI governance policies ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
• Conduct proof‑of‑concept projects for new BI tools or methodologies within the Azure Data Architecture domain.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to align BI initiatives with organizational goals.

Salary range: minimum to maximum for all US locations. Pay is determined by work location, job level, and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education.
