Job Summary
Position at the intersection of technology delivery and business operations, responsible for driving alignment across enterprise leaders to the divisional strategy. Leads IT Divisional efforts to prioritize, analyze, plan, and execute IT strategies in support of the business plan. Leads analysis and implementation of processes to optimize IT work and provides key perspective on metrics needed to measure divisional success. Oversees and coordinates day‑to‑day activities of enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives, contingency execution strategy, vendor relationship management, and business partner engagement while managing dynamic and critical timelines.
Ensures integration between partner teams and serves as a functional business liaison in the development and implementation of key IT initiatives based on the needs of the division. Interacts with senior and executive leadership.
NOTE:
This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO, IL or RICHARDSON, TX. Relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available including if you are currently on OPT.
- Prioritize, analyze, and plan IT strategies aligned with the business plan.
- Lead analysis and implementation of processes to optimize IT work.
- Monitor and track initiative impact and connect them to key enterprise outcomes.
- Oversee and coordinate day‑to‑day activities of enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives and contingency execution strategy.
- Manage vendor relationships and business partner engagement.
- Serve as functional business liaison for IT initiatives based on divisional needs.
- Interact with senior and executive leadership across multiple divisions.
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience or 11 years of experience in project management, business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, product administration or other relevant healthcare functions.
- Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
- Experience interpreting business and financial information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including establishing working relationships across departments and preparing presentations for senior management.
- Experience communicating with senior management and executive leadership from multiple divisions.
- Experience in X12 formatting and loops/segments, HIPAA Companion guides code sets, Trading partner requirements.
- Knowledge of Practice Management System/Electronic Health Record CMS 6020 Rule, FHIR Data Health Standards, and State level Mandates where applicable.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to an executive audience.
- Experience managing and delegating assignments across multiple complex projects successfully in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams and junior resources.
- Highly motivated self‑starter with ability to rapidly connect the dots and deliver across broad and ambiguous scope of work.
- Ability to independently drive and deliver scope of work; operate in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Flexible, resourceful, and creative with strong information processing and organizational skills.
- Problem resolution experience and skills, negotiation skills, analytical skills, and detail orientation.
- Proficiency with PC, including MS Office products.
- Monitoring and tracking initiative impact and connecting them to key enterprise outcomes.
- Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
- Proven strategic thinking and execution.
- Ability to drive decisions, create optionality, and determine impacts of options.
- Ability to clearly articulate and prepare presentations for all levels to share data, options, and recommendations.
Base Pay Range $ - $. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
