CDS Release Management Specialist; Hybrid - Top Secret Clearance Required

Role Overview

The CDS Release Management Specialist will plan, coordinate, and execute the deployment of technology changes into production across the CDS enterprise environment. The role ensures deployments are performed in a controlled, repeatable manner with minimal impact to business operations by collaborating with CDS Process and Service Owners. The Deployment Manager acts as the single point of coordination during production cutovers, ensuring operational readiness, risk mitigation, and clear communication throughout the deployment lifecycle.

• Lead all CDS service deployments, maintaining close alignment with the CDS project portfolio activities and the Program Management Office (PMO).
• Oversee deployment plans and tools.
• Coordinate cutovers and back‑out plans.
• Ensure successful implementation in the production environment and verify post‑deployment stability.
• Partner with CDS Process and Service Owners and the Service Desk to confirm documentation, support models, monitoring, and escalation paths are in place.
• Communicate deployment status, risks, and outcomes to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure operational readiness and coordination throughout the Service Transition Lifecycle.

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued TOP SECRET security clearance required prior to start date.

• Experience with service transition and knowledge management.
• Experience with continual service improvement and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with change, configuration, and release management.
• ITIL certification.
• CORE certification.

Hybrid – Tewksbury MA, Richardson TX, Tucson AZ. Employees will work both onsite and offsite, with the onsite ratio determined in partnership with the manager.
