The US Oncology Network is looking for an IT Operations Analyst Summer Intern to support our Richardson, Texas location. This is a full-time summer internship with a schedule of M - F, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

What does the IT Operations Analyst Summer Intern position do?
The IT Operations Analyst Summer Intern assists with day-to-day computer support operations, including basic troubleshooting, device setup, equipment preparation, and hardware/software installation. This role supports the IT team by helping answer support requests, document incidents, prepare devices for deployment, and assist with inventory receiving and shipping activities. The intern will gain exposure to end-user support, PC imaging, and IT service processes while learning company standards and best practices.
Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
* Assist with answering basic support calls and tickets from end users under team guidance.
* Document end user issues, service requests, equipment activity, and related support communications.
* Provide basic troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and common software issues.
* Support the IT team with workstation setup, software installation, and basic maintenance tasks.
* Receive, process and ship new desktop/laptops and accessories.
* Assist with imaging new computers and preparing devices for deployment in a production environment.
* Help maintain documentation, update asset tracking records, and support inventory organization.
* Participate in team projects and complete other entry-level IT support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:
* Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field strongly preferred.
* Basic understanding of Windows computers, mobile devices, and common workplace software applications.
* Interest in learning about desktop support, device deployment, networking, and IT service operations.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
* Must have strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
