We are looking for a highly skilled SUSE Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Linux/Unix administration, production support, automation, and enterprise infrastructure management.
This role requires hands‑on experience in managing critical production environments, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting large‑scale enterprise systems.
Responsibilities- Administer and manage SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) environments
- Perform system health checks, monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Execute OS patching, kernel upgrades, and vulnerability remediation activities
- Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents and critical outages
- Troubleshoot Linux OS, infrastructure, and application‑related issues
- Develop automation scripts using Shell/Python and Ansible
- Work with enterprise monitoring tools such as Datadog and Dynatrace
- Ensure systems comply with enterprise security and audit standards
- Participate in weekend/on‑call support for major incidents
- Strong expertise in SUSE Linux/Unix Administration
- Experience in enterprise on‑prem/data center environments
- Experience with Ansible Automation
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog/Dynatrace
- Exposure to public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
- Knowledge of AIX is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to independently manage production support environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
