How You'll Help Us Connect the WorldAs the Infrastructure Architecture Lead, you will define and drive the technical architecture strategy for the company's enterprise infrastructure environment. You will partner closely with IT Operations, Security, End User Computing, Cloud, and Network teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions that support business growth and modernization initiatives.
This role serves as the technical authority for infrastructure architecture, ensuring alignment across on-premises and cloud environments while establishing standards, roadmaps, and best practices for the future state of the enterprise.
You Will Make an Impact By:- Developing and maintaining the enterprise infrastructure roadmap, including compute, storage, virtualization, cloud, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Designing scalable and secure infrastructure architectures that support business applications and global operations.
- Partnering with Cloud, Platform, Network, and Security teams to ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.
- Leading infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and platform optimization efforts.
- Evaluating emerging technologies and making recommendations that improve reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Establishing architectural standards, reference designs, and governance processes for infrastructure deployments.
- Providing technical leadership for major projects, including data center, cloud, network, and end-user computing initiatives.
- Supporting capacity planning, business continuity, disaster recovery, and infrastructure lifecycle management activities.
- Collaborating with vendors and strategic partners to evaluate solutions and guide technology investments.
- Serving as a senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure challenges and root-cause analysis efforts.
- Driving automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, architecture, or related IT disciplines.
- Strong experience designing enterprise infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, virtualization, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft and hybrid‑cloud environments, including Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Entra , DNS, DHCP, identity management, and enterprise authentication technologies.
- Knowledge of infrastructure security principles, hardening standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business and executive audiences.
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Experience supporting global manufacturing or technology organizations.
- Experience with automation technologies such as Power Shell, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with modern endpoint management solutions including Intune and Autopilot.
- Experience leading infrastructure transformation or cloud migration initiatives.
- Industry certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, VMware VCP/VCAP, or TOGAF.
