Azure Data Architecture with Power BI and SQL
Richardson TX Onsite - Contract
Seeking 11 years of experience in Azure Data Architecture to design and implement advanced Power BI and Azure SQL solutions for data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable and efficient Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging Azure SQL as the data source.
- Architect data solutions within the Azure ecosystem focusing on data modeling, integration, and performance optimization.
- Lead end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, and visualization best practices.
- Manage Azure SQL databases, including query tuning, performance optimization, and data integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize business intelligence needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI platforms following governance policies.
- Optimize data models and queries to enhance report performance and usability.
- Stay updated with emerging Azure data services and Power BI features to continuously improve BI frameworks.
- Document technical specifications, data flows, and architectural designs to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and guide junior BI developers and analysts to elevate team capabilities.
- Implement and enforce BI governance policies ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
- Conduct proof-of-concept projects for new BI tools or methodologies within the Azure Data Architecture domain.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to align BI initiatives with organizational goals.
