Our client is seeking an experienced SAP IBP Software Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise supply chain planning solutions. This individual will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of SAP IBP while partnering with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that improve planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions.
- Strong experience configuring and supporting SAP IBP modules including Supply Planning, Response & Supply, and Inventory Optimization.
- 3-5 years of experience working within SAP ERP environments.
- Experience with SAP CPI-DS; exposure to SDI and RTI is highly desirable.
- Background in software development, solution architecture, or enterprise application design.
- Experience supporting inventory optimization and end-to-end supply chain planning initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and iterative software development practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a collaborative, consultative approach.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Experience integrating SAP IBP with other enterprise applications such as SAP BW or similar reporting platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or another STEM-related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support enterprise SAP IBP solutions with an emphasis on Supply Planning, Response & Supply, Inventory Optimization, and related integration technologies.
- Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to understand planning requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, from solution design and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Configure, enhance, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP IBP and CPI-DS functionality to improve system performance and business processes.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, governance, and long-term technology strategy.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, configuration details, and implementation artifacts.
- Participate in Agile planning sessions, sprint activities, and cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate closely with development, integration, and business teams to resolve complex issues and support continuous process improvements.
- Research new SAP capabilities, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
- Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert, helping guide architectural decisions and mentoring team members when appropriate.
- Support ongoing enhancements and future roadmap initiatives while ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability.
