Position: Master Data Management Lead (Hybrid)

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Master Data Management Lead to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role requires mandatory U.S. citizenship.

What YOU will do
  • Facilitate and lead the design of scalable MDM solutions that meet multiple business needs.
  • Guide developers with logical and physical MDM data models.
  • Manage requirements across multiple domains:
    Customer, Part, Supplier, Reference Data, and other domains.
  • Build data quality processes embedded in the phases of MDM domain lifecycle management.
  • Experience with MDM golden record edge condition traceability and capturing matching and survivorship rules.
  • Lead the development of task management workflows.
  • Recommend and design data enrichment processes.
  • Work with data owners and stewards on data curation and task‑management business processes.
  • Guide analysts in building business requirement documents and other MDM artifacts for multiple implementations.
  • Provide development team guidance on best practices for MDM data inbound and outbound needs.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance Enterprise Lead and Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with technology and data architecture.
  • Operate in a high‑demand environment with multiple projects and guide data initiatives.
  • Own governance processes and balance resource workloads with business owners.
  • Conduct technical reviews of data pipelines to ensure quality of information delivery.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members on data management and service best practices.
  • Support production environments and develop SOPs and knowledge‑base articles.
  • Investigate problems to root cause and champion corrective action implementation.
  • Support the development of training programs for business and development onboarding.
  • Assist leadership with MDM KPI tracking.
What YOU will learn
  • Our data landscape, business processes, governance opportunities for master data, technology ecosystem, products, services, business model, and organizational structure.
Qualifications YOU Must Have
  • University degree with minimum 10 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Deep understanding of master data management, data governance, and associated technologies.
  • Proven experience establishing and operationalizing data management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of data governance and its role in successful MDM.
  • Understanding of audit and security compliance needs.
  • Experience in multi‑year business transformation programs is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while balancing priorities and schedules from program leadership.
  • Proficiency with project performance measurement, tracking methods, and tools.
  • Ability to navigate matrix and clustered environments and build bridges to support business needs.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with multiple ERPs such as SAP (S/4

    HANA), JDE, or others.
  • Capability to switch between waterfall and agile PM approaches; experience with multiple MDM tools (SAP MDG, Chain Sys, Informatica, etc.).
  • Experience with ETL/ELT/API‑based integration patterns for data services.
  • Experience working in high‑security environments with data such as ITAR, DOD, or federal and local compliance needs.

Salary range: $132,400 - $251,600 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
