- Pay Rate: $43.00 $ 50.00 / Hour (USD)

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives on creating seamless, intuitive experiences that bridge mobile applications and hardware products. In this role, you'll lead design initiatives that shape how users interact with our ecosystem delivering solutions that are not only functional but delightful. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to craft experiences that feel effortless and elevate our brand.
The PD&R Controls department is responsible for designing and delivering innovative control systems and user experiences that integrate hardware and software for next-generation products. Our team works at the intersection of technology and design, creating solutions that are intuitive, reliable, and forward-thinking.
Key Responsibilities- Lead UX/UI design for B2B and B2C mobile and hardware-integrated products, ensuring intuitive navigation and responsive design.
- Understand the user by consuming research insights and designing journey maps.
- Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity design that communicate intent clearly across teams.
- Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across products.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure designs are not only desirable, but also feasible and viable.
- Contribute to long-term experience strategy.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and consistency across all touchpoints.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in mobile UX, hardware interaction, and cross-platform design.
- Demonstrate user empathy and curiosity.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools including Figma.
- Expertise in Figma-based design systems.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience designing for IoT devices, wearables, or hardware ecosystems.
- Familiarity with gesture-based interactions, haptics, and mobile performance constraints.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- 5 years in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing mobile app and hardware-integrated experiences.
- Experience in design for cross-platform native applications (Android and iOS).
