Technology Specialist – Network Security & Data Center Architect

We are seeking an experienced Technology Specialist – Network Security & Data Center Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data center, WAN, and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong architectural expertise in BGP, OSPF, firewall technologies, and Spine-Leaf data center architecture, along with recent hands-on implementation experience. This role requires a highly skilled network professional capable of leading enterprise network architecture initiatives, driving infrastructure modernization, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise network solutions across Data Center, WAN, Campus, and Hybrid Cloud environments.
  • Lead network architecture initiatives involving BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
  • Design and implement modern Spine-Leaf data center architectures using VXLAN/EVPN.
  • Develop enterprise network segmentation, security, and firewall policies aligned with organizational standards.
  • Design hybrid cloud connectivity solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Architect highly available and fault-tolerant network infrastructures supporting mission-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to deliver integrated network solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership during implementation, migration, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
  • Design and support enterprise load balancing, traffic management, and network resiliency solutions.
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and network governance policies.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical documentation, and operational planning.
Required Skills
  • 8–10 years of experience in enterprise networking and network architecture.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
    • Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
    • TCP/IP Networking
    • Routing & Switching
    • VLAN Design and Segmentation
    • Firewall Technologies
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Data Center Networking
    • Spine-Leaf Architecture
    • VXLAN
    • EVPN
    • Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
  • Experience designing secure enterprise network architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud networking and connectivity across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience implementing enterprise firewall and network security solutions.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring, infrastructure observability, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with load balancers such as F5, Citrix ADC, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN).
  • Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring platforms such as Solar Winds, Splunk, Grafana, or similar tools.
  • Experience working in Agile or Dev Ops-driven infrastructure environments.

  • Lead architecture and hands-on implementation of enterprise networking solutions using BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewall technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in large enterprise or managed services environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and zero-trust networking principles.
  • Experience leading large-scale network transformation and migration projects.
Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
