Sr Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

An individual with the ability to design and develop data integrations to deliver Enterprise BI Data Marts and BI Semantic Data layer(s). This role requires strong technical skills in platforms such as MPP Platforms (Teradata), Hadoop Datalake, Databricks, Azure Cloud and Power Bi with ability to design and develop end to end data integration pipelines. As an Architect in the Enterprise Business Analytics & Business Intelligence team, this role is expected to manage multiple projects within the team and support others within the DAS organization.

Many of these projects/initiatives are part of the HCSC & DAS initiatives to improve data processes, technology infrastructure and reporting/analytical services.

This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX – relocation will not be offered; SPONSORSHIP NOT OFFERED, INCLUDING IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ON OPT.

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience or 9 years’ equivalent experience with data integration platforms
• Strong technical experience in Business Intelligence Architecture and technologies
• Experience working with a data architecture team to develop/manage a universal semantic model
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to design, develop data products solution to enable insights
• Experience working with Hadoop tech stack like HDFS, Hive, Spark, Pyspark/python, Sqoop
• Experience working with MPP platforms like Teradata BTEQ, SQL, T‑SQL etc
• Experience working with Azure, ADLS, ADF, Azure SQL etc
• Knowledge of Dev Ops / continuous deployment / integration process and tools
• Knowledge of working with Enterprise grade scheduling tools like Control M
• Be an avid learner, gain a solid understanding of available data and promote innovative insights
• Strong analytical skills, written, communications and presentation skills, ability to source interpret and present analytics in a thoughtful and meaningful manner
• Proactive self‑starter, quick‑learner, flexible team‑player, ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi‑task, maintain strong attention to detail, and prioritize work within tight deadlines

• Healthcare sector experience preferred
• Hands on experience with Databricks, Pyspark and PowerBI semantic model
• Understanding of Databricks Assistance or Git Copilot will be helpful
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability
• Strong knowledge of SQL, analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources

Base Pay Range: $92,700.00 - $. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
