Job DescriptionThe Senior Data Product Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to support the development and optimization of data products. This role involves working closely with product owners and data engineers to ensure data products meet business needs.

How You'll Spend Your Time- You will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data product designs aligned with enterprise standards.
- You will collaborate with business and IT experts to map source data to data products while documenting assumptions and decisions.
- You will analyze large datasets to uncover trends, insights, and data quality issues.
- You will lead and support QA efforts to ensure accurate, timely delivery of data products.
- You will provide recommendations to enhance data product quality, performance, and functionality.
- You will maintain documentation, serve as a subject matter expert, and support user training and team development.
- You will mentor and train junior data product analysts.
- You will lead analysis with 3rd parties that provide source system data and establish how they will be integrated with enterprise data products.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or related role.
- Highly developed SQL skills and advanced experience with Python and/or reporting technologies (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for data visualization or analysis.
- An understanding of data governance and master data management and their role in data integrity and mastered data products.
- Excellent collaboration skills. Proven ability to work across business units and lines of authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills used across all levels of an organization. Ability to build strong business and team partnerships is essential.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to independently solve complex problems and identify solutions.
- Proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities and make judgment calls based on objective information.
- Experience running agile development methodologies and best practices (JIRA and Confluence).
