Senior Test Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager with strong expertise in Big Data Testing, ETL/Data Warehouse Testing, Azure Cloud Testing, and SQL. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing initiatives for enterprise data platforms, ensuring high-quality data validation, cloud migration testing, and successful delivery across distributed Agile teams. The candidate should possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills while collaborating with onsite and offshore teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for Big Data, ETL, and Azure Cloud applications.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for enterprise data platforms.
• Design and execute test cases to validate ETL workflows, data transformations, and data warehouse solutions.
• Create and execute complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target data mappings, transformation logic, and business rules.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Storage environments.
• Validate large datasets and ensure data integrity throughout ETL and cloud migration processes.
• Coordinate with development, business, and infrastructure teams to resolve defects and ensure high-quality releases.
• Manage onsite and offshore testing teams while tracking project deliverables, risks, and timelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, STLC, testing standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of overall experience in Software Testing with a strong background in Data Testing.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Big Data Testing, ETL/Data Warehouse Testing, and Azure Cloud Testing.
• Strong expertise in SQL for complex query writing, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience testing Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Storage Containers.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and Big Data ecosystems.
• Experience developing test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and detailed test cases.
• Experience validating large datasets, transformation logic, and business rules.
• Knowledge of Azure Pipelines, data validation processes, and CI/CD testing practices.
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Data Automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience using PySpark for data validation or testing.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud migration and enterprise data modernization projects.
• Experience leading testing teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
