Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Kubernetes Administration and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to support enterprise container platform operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing large-scale Kubernetes environments, automating infrastructure deployments, and supporting Dev Ops practices in cloud-native ecosystems. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters while ensuring platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage container platform operations with a primary focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Design, deploy, administer, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and supporting infrastructure.
- Perform cluster upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of containerized application platforms.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Git Lab, and Kubernetes environments.
- Monitor platform health, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive improvements.
- Collaborate with development, cloud, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and platform management.
- Implement container security, governance, and operational best practices.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous platform optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Dev Ops, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Kubernetes (K8s)
- Terraform
- Experience managing enterprise-scale container platforms and cloud-native environments.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, storage, ingress controllers, and cluster lifecycle management.
- Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Git Lab.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
