Enterprise Data Architect

Role:
Enterprise Architect – Critical Infrastructure Services (CIS) Reporting to:
Associate Vice President.

The role will act as a strategic bridge between business vision and technology execution, helping CIS define the next generation of products, platforms, and digital capabilities that support CBRE's continued growth in the critical infrastructure market.

CBRE's Critical Infrastructure Services (CIS) business is one of the company's fastest-growing strategic growth platforms, serving the rapidly expanding market for data centres, digital infrastructure, critical power systems, telecom networks, and mission-critical facilities
. CIS combines the capabilities of three businesses,
Data Center Solutions (DCS), Direct Line and Pearce Services to provide end-to-end services across advisory, design, construction, asset management, operations, maintenance, and critical power infrastructure. The business is at the centre of the global AI and hyperscaler data centre expansion, helping clients deliver resilient, secure, and sustainable infrastructure at scale.

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to join his team in either Dallas or London and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of CBRE's Critical Infrastructure Services business. This individual will be responsible for navigating a complex and rapidly evolving business landscape, transforming ambiguity into clarity, and defining the strategic technology vision that enables business growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation across the CIS portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex business challenges and designing innovative digital solutions that combine rich data, modern cloud and AI technologies, and product-centric thinking to deliver actionable insights at the point of interaction. The role requires expertise in modern, agile-centric architecture practices and the ability to influence and align stakeholders across business and technology functions.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with Business Leaders, Product Management, Technology, and Business Transformation teams
. The Enterprise Architect will work directly with CIS leadership, Khadir, and his leadership team to define and execute the long-term transformation roadmap for the CIS organization and its portfolio of digital products and platforms.

• Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure environments, including Data Centres, power and cooling systems, network infrastructure, facilities operations, and the broader data centre ecosystem
  .
• Knowledge of data centre operations, infrastructure lifecycle management, critical power, asset reliability, and the logistics required to support hyperscale and enterprise environments.
• Ability to bridge business and operational challenges with technology-led solutions.
• Experience defining and evolving digital products for asset-intensive industries.
• Strong understanding of Data Centre Asset Management
  , Connected Assets, IoT-driven operations, enterprise platforms, and product management disciplines.
• Familiarity with leading industry products and platforms supporting facilities management, critical infrastructure operations, maintenance, and asset performance.

• Understanding of how the Critical Infrastructure and Facilities Management market is evolving, including trends across hyperscale data centres, digital infrastructure, sustainability, and operational resilience.
• Ability to identify and shape AI-powered use cases that improve asset performance, predictive maintenance, technician productivity, operational efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and translate market trends into strategic opportunities for CIS products and services.
