We are hiring a Senior Systems Administrator for a growing Managed Services Provider supporting multiple client environments across Microsoft cloud, Windows infrastructure, networking, security, and virtualization.
This role is built for someone who already understands the pace and variety of MSP work, but wants more ownership, stronger WFH flexibility, and a better balance between senior escalations, project work, and client strategy.
You will not be limited to routine tickets. You will own complex technical issues, improve client environments, lead infrastructure initiatives, and help set higher technical standards across the service team.

Technical Scope- Own senior escalations across servers, cloud platforms, networks, security tools, and client infrastructure
- Support and improve Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra , Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid environments
- Lead cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, security improvements, server refreshes, and client technology initiatives
- Troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, wireless, switching, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues
- Support VMware, Hyper V, backups, endpoint security, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery environments
- Identify risks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities across client environments
- Provide technical guidance to clients and help align recommendations with business needs
- Mentor junior engineers and improve escalation quality, documentation, and troubleshooting standards
- Maintain clean technical documentation, project notes, client records, and handoff details
- 5 to 8 years of systems administration, infrastructure support, or senior technical support experience
- Recent MSP experience supporting multiple client environments is required
- Strong Microsoft cloud experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra
- Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure experience
- Experience with VMware, Hyper V, backups, endpoint protection, and monitoring tools
- Hands on networking experience across firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently and drive problems through resolution
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to explain technical recommendations clearly
- Strong documentation habits and experience working within MSP standards, tools, and processes
- Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Security+, or similar certifications
- Experience leading cloud migrations, security projects, or infrastructure modernization work
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or acting as a senior escalation resource
- Background supporting regulated, professional services, healthcare, financial, or multi site clients
- Compensation up to $125,000 based on experience
