Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams working on large scale Java modernization and Spring Boot migration projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong Agile delivery expertise along with a good understanding of Java frameworks Spring Boot microservices APIs CICD and cloud native application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups backlog refinement sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Support engineering teams involved in migrating legacy Java applications to Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Partner with Product Owners Technical Project Managers architects developers QA Dev Ops and infrastructure teams
• Help teams plan and deliver migration milestones while maintaining sprint predictability quality and business alignment
• Track sprint progress velocity burndown metrics risks issues blockers and crossteam dependencies
• Remove delivery impediments and coordinate timely resolution with technical and business stakeholders
• Facilitate technical discussions related to Java modernization API dependencies testing deployment and production readiness
• Ensure user stories technical stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and ready for development
• Support the decomposition of complex migration requirements into manageable epics features and user stories
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple Agile teams participating in application modernization programs
• Drive adherence to Agile principles Scrum practices SDLC controls and organizational governance standards
• Promote continuous improvement through actionable retrospectives delivery metrics and team feedback
• Support release planning change management production deployment and postmigration stabilization activities
• Prepare and communicate Agile delivery reports to program leadership and USbased stakeholders
• Coach team members on Agile practices and foster collaboration accountability transparency and continuous improvement

Required Skills:

• Strong experience as a Scrum Master for enterprise application development or modernization projects
• Good understanding of Core Java Spring Framework Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Experience supporting legacy Java to Spring Boot migration projects
• Understanding of REST APIs enterprise integrations databases and distributed application architecture
• Strong knowledge of Scrum Kanban SAFe and other Agile delivery methodologies
• Proficiency in JIRA Confluence Azure Dev Ops or similar Agile management tools
• Experience managing risks blockers dependencies sprint metrics and release coordination
• Understanding of CICD pipelines Git Jenkins Docker Kubernetes and cloud environments
• Excellent facilitation conflict resolution stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with US based stakeholders and globally distributed teams

Preferred

Skills:

• Banking or Financial Services experience
• Experience supporting application modernization and cloud migration programs
• Exposure to AWS Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Certified Scrum Master PSM SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent certification
• Familiarity with AI assisted productivity and Agile delivery tools
• Knowledge of Payments Digital Banking or Core Banking applications
