We are seeking an experienced Siemens Teamcenter Functional Consultant to support a large-scale Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation.
This is a functional consulting role
, not a Teamcenter production-support or software development position.
You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, procurement, and technology teams to understand how products are designed, changed, released, manufactured, sourced, and managed—and translate those business processes into effective Teamcenter solutions.
The ideal candidate has extensive Siemens Teamcenter and PLM experience and has taken ownership of functional work streams during Teamcenter implementations, transformations, upgrades, or enterprise rollouts.
Candidates should have deep expertise in at least one major Teamcenter functional area, along with working knowledge across several others.

- Meet with engineering and business teams to understand current PLM processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions, discovery meetings, and functional workshops.
- Translate business needs into practical Teamcenter functional designs and processes
. - Design future-state PLM workflows, governance, and operating processes.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions using standard Teamcenter functionality when possible.
- Create functional specifications, process flows, use cases, configuration requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Teamcenter architects, developers, integration teams, testers, and business stakeholders.
- Support functional configuration, testing, UAT, deployment, training, user adoption, and post-launch stabilization.
- Help improve how product information moves between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and other downstream teams.
- Design and improve item, part, document, and product-structure processes.
- Support EBOM, MBOM, configurable products, variants, revisions, and effectivity
. - Establish governance for parts, assemblies, specifications, and related product information.
- Improve BOM authoring, reconciliation, release, and revision processes.
- Support integration between Teamcenter and ERP platforms such as SAP.
- Design and improve ECR, ECO, ECN, deviation, and release processes
. - Define Teamcenter workflows, approvals, routing, notifications, and governance.
- Support change-impact analysis across BOMs, documents, manufacturing processes, suppliers, and quality records.
- Improve revision, maturity, release-status, baseline, and configuration processes.
- Improve how suppliers and external partners participate in product development.
- Support supplier onboarding, technical-document exchange, part submissions, specifications, and approvals.
- Define appropriate security, access, and data-sharing processes.
- Work with engineering, procurement, sourcing, and supply-chain teams.
- Support product, material, supplier, and regulatory compliance processes.
