  • Drive closure velocity and reduce inactive or stale claims.

  • Reduce lost time
  • Improve employee experience
  • Minimize indemnity exposure
  • Actively monitor treatment plans and elevate concerns involving:
  • Extended care
  • Questionable diagnoses
  • Attorney involvement
  • Missed work restrictions
  • Partner with HR to ensure compliant and compassionate employee communication.
Claims Analytics & Cost Control

  • Claim frequency and severity
  • Average cost per claim
  • Litigation rate

Safety & Risk Collaboration
  • Work directly with the Safety team to:
  • Identify claim-driven risk trends
  • Support root cause analysis for serious incidents
  • Validate corrective actions
  • Provide feedback to Operations that connect claims outcomes to field behavior, training gaps, and policy effectiveness.
Field Leadership Support
  • Coach General Managers, Service Leaders, and Supervisors on:
  • Proper injury reporting
  • Employee communication after incidents
  • Claim expectations and timelines
  • Act as a calm, credible resource during high-stress or high-severity events.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on claims management experience (workers’ compensation strongly required).
  • Experience as a safety professional in warehousing, construction, or construction support environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA reporting requirements, including OSHA 300 and 300A logs.
  • Proven success managing claims in a multi-state, high-volume environment.
  • Experience managing fleet-related and auto liability claims.
  • Strong working knowledge of claims systems, TPAs, and carrier workflows.
  • Ability to interpret and challenge medical, legal, and reserve decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
