Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager reports directly to the Pastor of Finance and Operations and the Executive Pastor of Operations and ensures that facility related operations function as effectively and efficiently as possible. Managing all building related Items, projects and responsibilities to completion In a timely thorough manner.

They will join the church here at The Heights and become a fully engaged active member of the church to worship and serve the Kingdom in fellowship with the body of believers here.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance of the properties (Main Campus, Creekside Campus and Grice House. 247,000 combined SQ FT on 27 acres) and equipment of the church either by self, maintenance team or contractor

  • HVAC - Service contracts, repairs, monitoring and Buiding Automation Systems
  • Plumbing - Service contracts, repairs
  • Electrical - Repairs
  • Elevator Inspections and repairs
  • Roofing - Service contracts, repairs and replacement
  • Janitorial - Service contracts and or In house employees
  • Fire Protection - Service contracts, repairs, monitoring and first emergency contact
  • Lawn services - Service contracts, landscape Improvements
  • Pest Control - Service contracts, animal control
  • Building Security - video surveillance, automatic door locking systems, building monitor
Oversee large and small construction and remodel projects
  • Meet with architects, engineers, construction managers and design teams
  • Study and make suggestions on architectural drawings

    Ensure specifications of projects are adhered to
Coordination of all church events from a facilities perspective
  • Electrical usage
  • Setup
  • Flow
  • Safety
  • Cleaning
Coordinate with Setup Director and their direct reports (set-up workers & custodians)
  • Discuss best practices and how-tos
  • Provide assistance when needed
Develop and Implement best practices strategies for building usage
  • Use of the correct room for the ministry's specific needs
Oversee Life Safety and Building Code Regulations
  • Fire Code
  • Life Safety Code
  • OSHA
  • Local and State Building Codes
  • ADA
  • TAS - Texas Accessibility Standard
  • State Licensing for CDC
And other duties required
