OverviewThe role is within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit, specifically the Space, Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (SISR) Sub‑Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) and Commercial Intelligence & IT (Ci2) program area. The Senior Manager, Contracts will develop and execute contract strategy for both commercial and government contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop creative approaches to solve problems and create innovative contract solutions.
- Prepare and manage commercial and government proposals, including negotiation of terms and licensing agreements.
- Execute contract and manage day‑to‑day administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer obligations.
- Maintain and enforce contractual scope, terms, and conditions across all engagements.
- Build and sustain positive customer relationships, resolving contractual matters and leveraging relationships with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to achieve business results.
- Communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance.
- Typical requirement:
University degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years experience. - Experience in U.S. Government and/or Defense contracts management/administration.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS clauses and other customer supplementals.
- Experience with sole source and/or competitive acquisitions and proposals.
- Self‑starter with positive energy, thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Critical thinker with strong risk assessment skills and ability to deliver timely solutions.
- Passion for new and innovative business opportunities, with ability to manage multiple projects and act with urgency.
- Experience with commercial contracts and/or U.S. Government contracts, including special commercial terms and intellectual property rights management.

Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD
