PMC (Production & Material Control Specialist) About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented PMC (Production & Material Control) Specialist to support production planning and supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.
This role plays a key part in coordinating material flow, production scheduling, and cross-functional communication to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Coordination- Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to support manufacturing operations
- Ensure alignment between production plans and material availability
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed
- Track material availability and ensure timely supply for production needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams on material flow
- Track purchase orders, supplier status, and delivery timelines
- Identify potential delays and proactively communicate with internal teams
- Support resolution of supply chain issues
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure smooth execution
- Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues and improve coordination
- Maintain accurate production and material planning data
- Generate reports related to production, inventory, and material planning
- Identify inefficiencies and support process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Net Suite, or similar) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong Excel skills (data tracking, reporting, basic analysis)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify risks and solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus
