Position Title:

Material Handler / Mechanical Assembly / Cleanroom Assembly

Wage: $20.90 - $22.00/hour

Shift: 3rd, training on 2nd for 3-4 weeks

Hours:

11:00pm - 7:30am

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembly role for a company in Richardson, Texas. This is an associate-to-hire opportunity.

Material Handler / Kitter
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (SAP preferred)
  • Ability to interpret pick/order tickets with 100% accuracy
  • Knowledge of warehousing/inventory processes:
    Cycle Counting, FIFO, bin accuracy, labeling, shelf-life management, and Min/Max levels
  • Ability to maintain precise records of all material movements and documentation
  • Equipment Operation:
    Proficient with reel counters and pallet jacks
  • Experience with RF Scanners for inventory tracking
  • Communication:
    Ability to read and write English
Mechanical Assembly
  • Proficient in electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Understanding of various levels of assembly
  • Knowledge of using scanners
  • Experience with Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJ) or a willingness to learn
  • Expert use of torque drills and assembly tools
  • Duties may require periodic heavy manual effort, including lifting objects
  • Communication:
    Ability to read and write English
Assembly/Cleanroom
  • Knowledge of Fiber Optics or PCB/circuit board assembly / small component assembly - cleanroom
  • Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with assembly components and to address those problems
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems down to component level
  • Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings, verify mechanical dimensions and other features
  • Skilled in using inspection guns for component contamination checks
  • General knowledge of product process flow
  • Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications, and quality improvement processes
  • Ability to recognize problems in the operation process or with components and to highlight/communicate those problems to the Team Leader
  • Communication:
    Ability to read and write English
Qualifications
  • All candidates must live within 25 miles of 75080
  • All candidates must have proof of a high school diploma or GED
  • Be willing to submit to a background check and an in-lab drug screen
